Visiting The Valiant Soldier
Tickets are purchased at the front desk of the Heritage Museum next door to the right of the Valiant Soldier entrance. The ticket covers both sites.

When are we open?
During 2021 we are open until the end of October.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday – closed
Wednesday 11.30 – 4.00pm
Thursday 11.30 – 4.00pm
Friday 11.30 – 4.00pm
Saturday 11.30 – 4.00pm

Last Entry:
The last entry to The Valiant Soldier is 3.30pm

The entry fee is £5 per adult, children under 16 are free and seniors and students entry is £4 per person.  For for those living in the TQ11 postcode entry is free, although donations will be very welcome.

Disabled are welcome but limited to the downstairs floor. Their entrance is free. Regret no dogs allowed.

Group Bookings:
Group booking to the Valiant Soldier can be arranged for 10 people or more when the Valiant Soldier is closed to the general public – e.g. during the winter months, evenings, etc. For more information please call the Valiant Soldier on 01364 644 522 and ask for the manager.

Where Are We?
The Valiant Soldier is easy to find at the bottom of Buckfastleigh’s main street. Look out for the brown signs just off the A38 Devon Expressway. We are 10 minutes walk from South Devon Railway.
