Welcome to the Valiant Soldier
The Valiant Soldier was an active pub in Buckfastleigh which closed in the late 1960’s and never re-opened. Everything was literally left as it was and today, it’s open as a museum, giving visitors a glimpse of the past…

I visited you at The Valiant Soldier in early May. I am interested in Bulley family history.
I am also interested in the old Tithe Barn, now a private residence in Grange Road. I understand there was a farm near it called Grange Farm. Can you help with this?

I enjoyed visiting Buckfastleigh, especially finding family headstones in the Holy Trinity cemetery
